Setup

How do you post to my church's Facebook page or Instagram account?

Once you become a Weave member we’ll send you simple instructions to connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts to the Weave program. You just give the permissions and we’ll take care of the rest!

What if my church doesn't already have Facebook page?

We can set up accounts for you as needed for a smallt one-time charge per account established. Just let us know when youstart your subscription! 

Do I need to be an Admin on the Facebook page?

You don’t have to be an admin, but you’ll need the help of someone who is. The billing account and page connection accounts can be different contacts. 

Content

Will I see what you are going to post ahead of time?

Yes! You can log into your account to see upcoming posts up to 30 days ahead of their scheduled posting time.

Can I choose a different post?

You can change tracks at any time, but we do not currently have a way for you to pick and choose individual posts. 

What sort of content do you produce?

Burlap seeks to serve every member of the diverse body of Christ. You can see examples of the content for each our content tracks here

What bible translation do you use?

Unless otherwise noted, scripture comes from the New Revised Standard Version. 

Will our posts have the Weave logo on them?

Nope! While all of our example posts on the website and the Weave social media accounts have the Weave logo, the images that post to your page will not. We don’t do anything that signals to the members of your church that the posts are provided by the Weave program.

Social Media Strategy

Do I need to do anything with our social media accounts after I sign up?

We handle posts to your accounts up to 6 times per week. While some churches let that be the bulk of the activity on their pages we recommend filling in with photos and posts from the life of your church.

What should I do with comments on our page?

Answer them! Our posts are designed to generate discussion and interaction. We’ll help you get the conversation started, and you can jump in and continue it, as well as keeping an eye on your reviews, questions, and comments. 

Do you use hashtags on Instagram posts?

Weave doesn’t use hashtags on Instagram because with best practices in mind they should be unique to your church and ministry situation. If you would like to add hashtags to your posts, any post to Instagram from Weave can be edited after it goes live to include hashtags or additional content.

Other Questions

Can you post to Twitter for us?

We’d love to post to Twitter, but our service isn’t currently compatible with their platform. However, you can download the posts and content from the editorial calendar and post them with minimal effort.

Can I sponsor a Weave Subscription for my church?

Absolutely! You can set yourself up as the billing contact with someone else listed as the contact for the Facebook page and Instagram account.
